Authorities are investigating the death of a 26-year-old Korean man who is believed to have fallen from a hotel in Malate, Manila.

According to a police report, the victim identified only as “W Lee” was found “lying on the pavement with multiple physical injuries on different parts of the body” at the parking entrance of Adria Residences on Adriatico Street at 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday.

He was dressed in a white shirt, black pants but was not wearing any shoes. Investigators interviewed a witness, Flora Marcadejas, who said found Lee’s body after she heard a loud thud coming from the parking entrance.

She added that she immediately informed the security guard at the nearby V Hotel, where records showed Lee had been staying since checking in on April 6. The report noted that the victim was last seen alive on April 8 at around 7:35 p.m. when he paid for his room at the lobby, according to a V Hotel staffer.
