Mirror image? No wonder we can’t erase corruption from our politicians because as corrupt as they are, we are nothing but a mere reflection of the problem.

True, oh so true. You are who you vote for, ’ika nga. In short, the fate of the country is in the hands of the majority [botantes]. The enlightened minority, like the ilustrados of the past, are pushed to the margins … Call it the tyranny of the majority, as one pundit said.
