Binalot to open at least 4 more branches this year

Local fast-food chain Binalot is looking to open at least four more stores in the Philippines this year. This is amid a 12 percent growth projection for the local food service sector this year.
Binalot Fiesta Foods Inc. president and CEO Rommel Juan shared the new locations to the Inquirer last week. These will boost the number of their stores to over 36 to date.
The new branches will be located at Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig City: Victory Mall in Sta. Rosa, Laguna; and Vista Terminal Exchange and Festival Mall Food World, both in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
“We also recently granted a territorial franchise to La Union,” he added.
Founded in 1996, Binalot is known for its authentic Filipino meals wrapped in banana leaves, featuring classics such as adobo, sinigang, bistek, tapa, and sisig
Binalot also recently opened new branches at Victory Mall in Pasay, Victory Park and Shop in Antipolo, Victory Central Mall in Caloocan, and Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
These recent and planned openings reflect Binalot’s strategy to ride the momentum of a recovering food service industry in the country, which is projected to reach pre-pandemic levels by next year.
According to a report by the United States Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA-FAS) released in December last year, the country’s food service industry is on track to return to pre-pandemic sales levels in 2025.
The rebound points to the public’s growing confidence in dining out, supported by improving economic conditions and loosening pandemic-era restrictions.
