BIZ BUZZ: DigiPlus preaches virtues of responsible gaming

Lisbet K. Esmael

At a time when online gambling faces regulatory squeeze over its supposed dangers, DigiPlus Interactive Corp. seeks to preach responsible gaming.

The company behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone will take the stage at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia Philippines in Pasay City, where international gaming industry leaders will gather.

Erick Su, who heads ArenaPlus, will highlight the firm’s gaming practices as well as player protection at the panel Innovations in Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility on Dec. 11.

“As the pioneer and industry leader in Philippine online gaming and digital entertainment, DigiPlus is proud to be at the forefront of global industry dialogue at G2E Asia,” the official said.

“Our participation will showcase how we champion responsible gaming and sustainable growth, as DigiPlus continues to evolve from a local to a global entertainment brand,” Su said.

After penetrating Brazil, DigiPlus now hopes to roll the dice in South Africa. The firm earlier disclosed that it had filed applications for three operator licenses in South Africa via the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
