AIA’s Teo gets recognized

AIA Philippines’ very own Melita Teo has just added another feather in her cap, bagging the Executive Champion of the Year title at the 10th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards in Singapore.

The award honors leaders who have helped reshape and advance the insurance sector.

Teo, serving as the group’s chief executive officer since last year, has brought AIA Philippines to new heights by transforming its distribution strategy and strengthening its partnership with the Bank of the Philippine Islands to solidify its lead in the bancassurance market.

Not only did she spearhead the business growth, but the CEO likewise put a spotlight on social programs, like the AIA Healthiest Schools initiative.

Under her leadership, AIA Philippines was also recognized at the 2025 Insurance Asia Awards.
