BIZ BUZZ: Aseana City to host Delfin Wenceslao Jr. Campus

Benilde president Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC last week announced that a new campus will rise in Aseana City, Parañaque, that will honor Delfin Wenceslao Jr., founder of property development firm D.M. Wenceslao and Associates, Inc.

The Delfin Wenceslao Jr. Campus will house the School of Environment and Design and one to two more schools, Br. Fernandez said, and will be designed by Architect Ed Calma. The design and arts campus will feature learning areas and lounges that will be interwoven with gardens.

The welcome development was shared during the Solemnity of Saint Benilde Romancon at the Taft Campus last Aug. 13.

DMW CEO Delfin Angelo “Buds” Wenceslao said the group could not be prouder to have the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde expand into Aseana City.

“The DLS CSB School of Environment and Design will bring a wealth of knowledge, talent and innovation to Aseana City. As a former La Salle (Greenhills) student and alumnus, I am excited to have DLS-CSB join the Aseana community,” Wenceslao said.

The finer details of the project are still being finalized, but based on the renderings, students will surely be excited to enter its halls as soon as it is completed. Animo! —Tina Arceo-Dumlao INQ
