BIZ BUZZ: Divina expands to fitness

Nilo Divina already has more than enough on his plate, but it seems like he can pile even more on it.

This, as the managing partner of DivinaLaw, has invested in Fight League, a gym and physical fitness center that opened its doors last week to those eager to try their hand at boxing and other combat sports such as Muay Thai.

Helping Divina manage Fight League is 360 fitness company’s coach Chappy Callanta, a respected name in fitness circles.

The goal is to start a “movement for fitness” through the best facilities and the best coaches open to those who are venturing into the field for the first time as well as those who want to level up their skills, said Divina, who also continues to supervise the expansion of his restaurants, with Bistro Aurora opening earlier this year at SM’s upscale Podium mall.

Like Aurora, he also wants to expand Fight League, and bring it to other locations such as Makati, BGC and Quezon City.
