BIZ BUZZ: Governance expert joins DM Wenceslao board

Property developer DM Wenceslao & Associates, Inc. (DMW) has added a seasoned governance voice to its boardroom.

The company recently elected governance advocate Enriqueto M. Soriano as independent director effective March 12, a move aimed at strengthening oversight as the listed firm continues expanding its Aseana City portfolio.

Soriano brings more than three decades of executive and boardroom experience across Asia. Over the years, he has served as independent director, chief executive officer and chairman in both listed and privately held companies in industries ranging from real estate to hospitality and consumer businesses.

Before this appointment, Soriano also worked as a governance consultant for the World Bank Group and the International Finance Corporation.
