Bounty Fresh flexes drug-free birds; Vitarich touts French hens

Bounty Fresh and Vitarich Corp. are anticipating more opportunities as both firms achieved milestones to scale up their poultry businesses.
In a statement on Wednesday, Bounty Fresh said it received certification from global classification and compliance service provider Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Inc. for raising poultry without antibiotics.
Bounty Fresh said it is actively expanding its antibiotic-free practices across its operations as it seeks to secure the Reared Without Antibiotics certification for its other farms and feed mills.
Meanwhile, Vitarich will exclusively distribute in the Philippines white hens from French breeder Novogen, amid efforts to boost farmers’ income and productivity.
Vitarich said Novogen white hens are known for their high productivity, laying efficiently for more than 100 weeks. They also exhibit feed efficiency, eggshell strength and adaptability.
