Health-care firm 1Life hits 1M customers
Filipino health-care provider 1Life Inc. has reached one million patients in two years through its nationwide network of field hospitals and digital primary care programs.
In a statement, 1Life said its integrated system, which combines diagnostics, consultations and medication in a single community visit, has been deployed across more than 1,200 municipalities and 80 provinces.
The tech-enabled primary care programs include portable devices, cloud-based patient records and artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted workflows. According to 1Life, these have reduced the typical four-day primary care process to about one hour.
1Life president Niño Namoco said the milestone reflected the company’s efforts to strengthen universal health coverage by bringing health care to communities, including those in remote and conflict-affected areas.
“Reaching one million patients is a reminder that accessible health care can change lives when delivered with consistency, compassion and the right technology. Every person we serve represents a family and a story, and we carry that responsibility with humility,” he said.
“Central to our program is the early detection and prevention of diseases, which has enabled us to reach a million patients and further the pursuit of universal health equity,” he added.
The majority of the one million patients were served through community medical runs that provided diagnostic services and physician consultations, supported by the 1Life Digital Community Healthcare System.
The platform links field missions, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies and laboratories through a unified digital network, enabling coordinated care supported by AI-assisted workflows and the newly launched 1Life Health App.
“These tools generate real-time insights for partners and enable communities to shift from reactive, hospital-centric care to proactive early detection, a central goal of the country’s healthcare reforms,” 1Life said in a statement.
