IWG to expand PH flexible office portfolio by 50%

Flexible office space provider IWG is expanding its operations in the Philippines by over 50 percent, with plans to open new centers across 17 locations next year.

“These centers, under Regus, HQ and Spaces brands, span key areas across the Philippines including Makati, Cavite, Tarlac, Batangas, Tuguegarao, Ilagan, Antipolo, Santiago, Pampanga, Malolos, Montalban and Rizal,” the British company said in a statement.

IWG said that demand for flexible workspaces was surging with the accelerated adoption of hybrid working.

“These new centers are strategically designed to meet the evolving needs of businesses and professionals, not just in urban hubs but also in key regional growth areas,” IWG said.

The firm is expanding beyond Manila’s central business districts to ensure that businesses nationwide have access to premium flexible work environments.

“In Antipolo, IWG will open its first Regus center in partnership with Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. in March 2025 by repurposing underutilized spaces to meet the growing demand for remote work solutions while supporting local talent, stimulating the economy, and contributing to community development,” the company said.

It also highlighted its expansion In Lipa, Batangas, a region it described as transitioning from agrarian roots to a thriving urban hub.
