Megaworld eyes P2B from Ilocandia beach village

Emmanuel John Abris

Megaworld Corp. is starting land development for its Ilocos Norte beachside township this year.

This is alongside the launch of its first residential village there, as it seeks to unlock new growth in tourism-driven real estate.

In a statement on Wednesday, Megaworld said the project involves Ilocandia Beach Village.

It is a 19.4-hectare (ha) residential enclave within the 84-ha Ilocandia Coastown in Laoag City. This will pave the way for the construction of roads and key infrastructure in the township.

Megaworld expects the project to generate about P2 billion in sales, with lot turnover targeted by 2031.

Ilocandia Beach Village will offer 446 residential lots ranging from 230 square meters (sq m) to 406 sq m.

The project is positioned as an exclusive gated community with direct beach access.

Residents will enjoy coastal views from their homes.

Megaworld said the village would feature a two-story clubhouse designed with modern tropical architecture.
