New tenant boosts activity at PNB Makati Center

PNB Holdings Corp. has added creative agency RNDMD to the tenant roster of PNB Makati Center, lifting activity at its flagship office property along Ayala Avenue in Makati City.

The listed real estate holding company said on Thursday it had signed a lease agreement with RNDMD, which recently opened a creative studio in the building.

Floyd Esguerra, co-founder and chief creative officer of RNDMD, said the agency selected the property because of its location within the Makati central business district and its longstanding presence along Ayala Avenue.

“The property is currently 86 percent leased, reflecting sustained demand for quality office space in one of the country’s premier business districts,” the company said.

The management expects occupancy to improve further as leasing activities continue and more tenants begin operating in the coming months.

The property has about 35,000 square meters of gross leasable area. Its tenant mix includes traditional offices, corporate headquarters and flexible workspace operators.

This allows the building to serve the changing workplace requirements of companies from different industries, PNB Holdings said.

Apart from filling more office space, the company is enhancing the ground floor of PNB Makati Center by introducing new food, beverage and lifestyle concepts.

PNB Holdings said these additions were intended to improve the experience of tenants, draw more visitors and strengthen the property’s competitiveness over the long term.

Office leasing will remain the building’s main business driver.
