Ovialand aims to build nationwide footprint by 2033

Housing developer Ovialand Inc. is targeting a nationwide presence by 2033, just before the company marks its 20th year.

In an interview during the launch of Ovialand’s third partnership with Japanese firm Takara Leben Co. Ltd., CEO Pammy Olivares-Vital said the company was also looking to double down on serving the emerging middle-class market.

“In the next five years, we’re really going to be focusing on the emerging middle-class Filipino family to give them premium real estate at P3 million to P5 million price points. We want to give them the best akin to luxury without the luxury prices,” she told reporters on Monday.

Vital added that the company was also planning to build malls within Ovialand’s existing communities starting 2026.

Ovialand currently has nine projects across Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and Bulacan, totaling about 5,000 units in the pipeline for its residential inventory.

Its latest venture with Takara Leben in Baliuag, Bulacan, marks their first partnership in Central Luzon. Dubbed “Anara,” the 275-unit development represented Ovialand’s strategic expansion to the north of Metro Manila, Vital said.

“We’re trying to expand our footprint in the south. But really, we’re doubling down on the north of Metro Manila, which is Bulacan, because 70 percent of our home buyers are all working in Bonifacio Global City and Makati,” she said.

Despite current headwinds, Vital said Ovialand continues to post strong revenue growth of about 20 percent, with a target of hitting 25 percent by year-end.

“In times like these, it becomes even more important for companies like Ovialand to persevere, to choose what is right, to build with integrity, to deliver our commitments with sincerity, not just for ourselves, but for the future of our nation and its people,” she said.
