PAL, Xavier School ink partnership to simplify educational travel arrangements

Lucio Tan-led Philippine Airlines has named Xavier School, a prestigious Catholic school, as its first educational institution-partner for school-related travel.

In a statement on Tuesday, PAL announced an agreement with Xavier School to design a program that provides the school with access to exclusive travel privileges, convenient booking processes and opportunities for applied learning beyond the classroom.

The objective of the partnership is to simplify travel arrangements for educational institutions, ensuring seamless logistics for trips and cultural immersions. This is “while also offering unique experiences such as guided tours of PAL facilities and technical training programs.”

Rabbi Vincent Ang, PAL Express president said, “As the nation’s flag carrier, Philippine Airlines understands the importance of a reliable partner in the skies.”

“Our commitment is to ensure that every journey taken by the Xavier School community is marked by safety, comfort and genuine heartfelt care,” Ang added.

Xavier School, which is known for its Chinese-Filipino identity, operates two campuses: one in San Juan and another at the Nuvali township in Laguna.

“PAL has always been helpful in our major programs such as ‘Xavier China Experience’ and ‘Explore Philippines.’ This partnership formalizes what is already evident all along,” said Fr. Joseph Haw SJ, Xavier School president.

He added, “We look forward to elevating the delivery of our programs to greater heights with this partnership. For us, it is always an honor to fly with our country’s flag carrier.” I
