The Shang Grand Tower taps First Gen for clean power
First Gen Corp. has bagged a renewable energy supply deal from luxury property developer Shang Properties, Inc. to power its residential condominium in Makati City. The agreement covers The Shang Grand Tower, particularly the property’s all common areas.
These include the parking floors, residential hallways, lobbies and the amenities floor.
The Lopez-led renewable energy firm said the electricity for the 46-story tower would be sourced from its Unified Leyte Geothermal Power Plant.
First Gen said this would complement the Shang Properties’ efforts to embrace “more sustainable residential and commercial spaces.”
