Ariel Rivera performs at CenterPlay
City of Dreams Manila features singer-actor Ariel Rivera at the 11th edition of Centerplay Concert Series happening on Aug. 28 at 9 p.m.
The talented heartthrob’s self-titled debut album was released in 1991, and was quickly followed a year later by “Simple Lang.” Both albums achieved triple platinum status.
He was behind chart-topping R&B and pop music hits including his first single “Sana Kahit Minsan,” “Simple Lang,” “Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin” and “A Smile in Your Heart.”
“Ariel Rivera Live at CenterPlay” follows the successful sold-out concert shows staged monthly at the circular stage at City of Dreams Manila’s main gaming floor.
Original Pilipino Music icons previously featured in the concert series include: Noel Cabangon, Neocolours, Jinky Vidal, Yeng Constantino, Raymond Lauchengco, Janno Gibbs, Rey Valera, Ice Seguerra, Nina and The CompanY.
The upcoming concert also showcases performances from DJs, and bands including Highschool Playlist and Swerve Band from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
