Kapuso programs set to stream on Viu in April

GMA Network and Viu Philippines are expanding their partnership by creating a premium catch-up service for GMA series available on Viu Philippines to binge-watch beginning April 1.

Viu subscribers can enjoy these GMA programs: “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon,” “Legal Wives,” “Artikulo 247 (Article 247),” “Return to Paradise,” “Nagbabagang Luha (Flames of Love),” “The Fake Life” and “Nakarehas na Puso (Prisoners of the Past).”

‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’

The romantic drama is the teleserye comeback of Heart Evangelista, with Richard Yap and Paolo Contis in tow. In the series, fashion designer and socialite Celeste (Heart) reluctantly returns to her hometown in Sorsogon, where she finds herself face-to-face with old flame Miko (Paolo).

‘Legal Wives’

Is the idea of a man loving more than just one woman, equally and at the same time, possible? This is the question asked on the family drama series. Dennis Trillo is joined by Alice Dixson, Bianca Umali and Andrea Torres. Set in Lanao del Sur, it follows the story of a man from a well-off Maranao family named Ismael Makadatu who will love three women out of obligation, dedication and compassion.

‘Artikulo 247’

How do you move forward when the ghosts of the past haunt you? Topbilled by Rhian Ramos, Benjamin Alves, Kris Bernal and Mark Herras, the drama showcases the emotional journey of a woman who bravely moves on from her past entanglement with her boss and his wife.

‘Return to Paradise’

The drama series stars Derrick Monasterio and Elle Villanueva, with Eula Valdes. It follows the story of two college students, Red Ramos (Derrick) and Eden Sta. Maria (Elle), stranded on an island after a plane crash. As they survive life in the wild, they fall deeply in love with each other. When the two are rescued, they find out that their parents have an irreconcilable feud that threatens to tear them apart.

‘Nagbabagang Luha’

TV screens heat up with the rivalry between two sisters in “Nagbabagang Luha,” starring Glaiza de Castro, Rayver Cruz, Claire Castro and Gina Alajar. The show is the TV adaptation of the hit 1988 film by Ishmael Bernal.
