The joys—and the power—of the printed page
December 9, 2024
Like prized merch, readers post their copies of the Inquirer on social media. —CONTRIBUTED
Thirty-nine years after our birth, you can now access the Philippine Daily Inquirer’s content in a variety of ways, including our digital edition InquirerPlus and our Inquirer app. But we continue to harness the power of print—and it is powerful.
There’s an army of people who work on each issue of the Inquirer. It’s not just the names you see in the staff box or the bylines—there are a lot more working their magic behind the scenes, to produce the newspaper that ends up in your hands.
It makes all of us happy to see you reading and enjoying the paper (or keeping it as merch—hello, K-pop fans!) in its print form, passing on the habit of tactile enjoyment from generation to generation.
