A little star is born: Ricky Razon lights Solaire tree with grandson
Solaire Resort kicked off its holiday festivities with its tree lighting ceremonies at Solaire Resort Entertainment City and Solaire Resort North. Both feature 20-foot Christmas trees in their properties.
“This year has been extraordinary, filled with remarkable moments, cherished memories and laughter of our guests. We are truly thankful for the trust and support you have shown us, making Solaire your preferred destination for luxury, entertainment, and for unforgettable experiences,” said Bloomberry Resorts president and CEO Thomas Arasi, as he welcomed guests at the Paranaque City outpost on Nov. 4.
“During this festive season we invite you to indulge in Christmas the Solaire way. We have crafted a series of special events, lavish dining experiences and enchanting performances designed to ignite the holiday spirit in all of us,” he declared.
The ceremony featured a duet between Tony Award winner Lea Salonga and “American Idol” star Clay Aiken, and performances by the Philippine Madrigal Singers. It was hosted by musical theater actress Carla Guevara-Laforteza.
The ceremonial tree lighting was led by Bloomberry Resorts Corp. chair and CEO Enrique K. Razon Jr., wife Lizzy, and infant grandson River, carried by his mother Katrina.
Meanwhile, Solaire Resort North welcomed the holiday season Nov. 6 with performances by Martin Nievera and Ballet Philippines.
“From exquisite holiday feasts to captivating entertainment, our team has poured its heart into creating experiences that reflect the warmth and the joy of Christmas. Let’s embrace the spirit of the holidays and celebrate Christmas the Solaire way,” said Arasi.
Also present at the Solaire Resort event were Alejandro Tengco, Pagcor chair and CEO; Donato Almeda, Bloomberry Resorts Corp. vice chair for construction and regulatory affairs; and former Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta.
Guests at the Solaire Resort North event included Solaire Resort North COO Gregory Hawkins, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Quezon City 1st District Rep. Arjo Atayde; and Pagcor’s Vina Oca.
