A weekend dedicated to living well

Diane Nicole Go

In a hustle-and-bustle culture that takes too much from us, it’s high time we focus on ourselves—on our health, our well-being, and the things that make us happy. This is the philosophy that The Westin Manila is bringing to life this September, with movement and mindfulness activities alongside a curated selection of sustainable and healthy products.

From sound baths to sunset yoga sessions, and thoughtful selections from local brands, the weekend invites anyone and everyone to slow down and carve out time for themselves.

Mindful activities and experiences

Happening from Sept. 18 to 20, the Westin Wellness Weekend features wellness activities that include:

– Free eye health talk, Sept. 18

(3 p.m.): A seminar by Japanese aesthetic and lasik brand Shinagawa Lasik Center in the Symphony Room, level two. Open to hotel guests who register at the front desk.

– Floating Sound Bath, Sept. 19

(7 p.m.): A sound healing activity by Hey Socials at the hotel pool deck, where participants lie on floating beds as calming tones and vibrations help them slow down, release tension, and settle into rest. (Participation fee is P1,800 nett per person)

– Golden Hour Yoga, Sept. 20

(5 p.m.): At Aire32, the hotel’s al fresco bar, Hey Socials leads guests through gentle movements and yoga poses, set against the skyline with a scenic sunset view. (Participation fee is P1,600 nett per person)

The Floating Sound Bath and Golden Hour Yoga are both packaged with light snacks and drinks for participants. Registration is now open via https://qrco.de/FloatAndFlow

Curated wellness finds, all under one roof

The Westin Manila will also be bringing back its Wellness Market from Sept. 19 to 20. Now in its fifth edition, the market brings together local brands centered on health-conscious living, sustainable products, and mindful consumption.
