AHG throws support behind DOT campaign
The Department of Tourism believes that the Philippines has the potential to attract visitors looking for health and wellness facilities and services, thus the inclusion of health and wellness tourism in its National Tourism Development Plan for 2023-2028.
Niyama Wellness by AHG seeks to support this initiative by the DOT by offering full-service spa and wellness management and consultancy to developers, owners and operators of leading hotels, resorts, and spa projects nationwide.
Its consultancy services cover pre-opening, daily operations, spa concept, spa menu design and spa training and management. Niyama Wellness by AHG also helps ensure that spa and wellness operations will run smoothly during the transition period, pre-opening up to the time the doors are opened to the public.
The Wellness & Spa Management Services is the newest service offered by AHG Hotels and Resorts, which has proven success in managing top hotels and resorts that have become market leaders in their respective destinations.
Among these are AHG-managed Anya Resort Tagaytay and Club Punta Fuego, with new properties to be launched soon in Siargao and Zambales.
Niyama Wellness Center at Anya Resort Tagaytay was launched in October 2022 and has since been recognized with the Best Sustainability Award and was a Global Winner at the World Luxury Award in 2022. The same year, it was nominated as Best New Spa for the Destination De Luxe Award.
Anya Resort, which is also managed by AHG, was recently awarded the Best Boutique Resort by the World Travel Awards.
AHG Hotels and Resorts is constantly innovating its wellness services to offer more holistic health experiences to guests.
Among its bespoke services at the Niyama Wellness Center at Anya Resort Tagaytay are integrative treatments in partnership with in collaboration with global biological wellness group European Wellness Retreat along with Holistic Treatments under Doctor of Osteopathy JP Prado.
In support of sustainability efforts, only natural and local ingredients are used in spa treatments, including virgin coconut oil and papaya, pineapple, and coffee.
