No more Mondays off: National Museum now welcomes visitors daily
Great news for culture enthusiasts and history buffs, effective January 2025, the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) is now open every day of the week.
Whether you’re planning a weekend visit or have some free time during the week, you can now explore the treasures of the National Museum Complex in Manila and its regional museums daily, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
With this new schedule, visitors can now experience the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Natural History, along with more than 16 regional museums across the country, including locations in Cebu and Davao.
The NMP’s decision to expand its hours aligns with its commitment to universal access. As the museum shared in their official Facebook page post, “By opening our museums every day and maintaining free admission, we aim to make our programs and services even more accessible to everybody.”
Not only is admission still free, but the National Museum also offers complimentary guided tours at the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Natural History. Groups of up to 35 can request a guided tour by submitting a request to reservation@nationalmuseum.com.ph at least five days before the visit.
