BingoPlus awards biggest Mega Jackpot prize of P154M
A working mother from Bukidnon has become richer by P154,148,662 after winning the Mega Jackpot in BingoPlus, the 24/7 online bingo platform owned and operated by the digital gaming company DigiPlus.
“Thank you sa BingoPlus,” she said at the awarding ceremony held last Monday at a hotel in Manila. “Dahil sa programa n’yo, makakatulong ako sa pamilya ko (Because of your program, I can help my family).”
“Congratulations to our winner today,” declared DigiPlus president Andy Tsui, who handed over the oversized presentation check.
“This is the most exciting event of BingoPlus,” he added. “To be honest, I’m so happy to award our biggest jackpot winner this year. I know after today, her life will be changed.”
To the winner, he remarked, “Do remember to spend your money wisely.”
BingoPlus’ current campaign on responsible gaming can help the Mega Jackpot winner and others who have also won prizes in managing their winnings. It provides financial literacy seminars and one-on-one coaching sessions.
The modern iteration of the game of chance enjoyed by generations of Filipinos also imparts sound advice to its players in general on how they can use their money. This is still in line with the responsible gaming campaign.
“We want everyone to enjoy the game with what they afford to spend,” Tsui said during the media huddle.
Opportunities
“BingoPlus has created a lot of life-changing opportunities for our players,” he pointed out. “Everyone can enjoy the fun while given the chance to win the big jackpot.”
Additionally, the company has set up the BingoPlus Foundation to be of help even to those outside the gaming community. It runs a scholarship program and medical missions, while giving financial assistance to those affected by typhoons and other natural calamities.
“We are proud to be an entertainment provider and also we are also able to give back to the community,” Tsui said.
BingoPlus has even bigger plans in 2025, he announced. For starters, there will be more live-streaming games to cater to its growing clientele.
A new digital entertainment platform, whether gaming or nongaming, is also in the works at BingoPlus and its parent company, DigiPlus.
“In fact, we have a new studio being built,” Tsui revealed. “We’re planning to launch nongaming entertainment like a sports channel, more live-streaming games.
DigiPlus, which has physical branches for operations, has secured licenses from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation for its various products. These include traditional bingo, electronic bingo games, electronic gaming services, sports betting, specialty games and poker.
