Canada–PH diplomatic relations turn 75
The Canadian Embassy in Manila proudly celebrated the 75th anniversary of Canada-Philippines diplomatic relations last June 25 at Grand Hyatt, BGC, highlighting a deep and enduring partnership that has flourished over the decades.
In his address, Canada Ambassador David Hartman emphasized the familial bond between the two nations, noting that the Filipino community is a vital part of Canada’s multicultural fabric.
The envoy spoke of the impressive contributions of over 1 million Filipinos to Canadian society, enriching the nation with their warmth and vibrant culture.
This relationship is mirrored in the many partnerships between Canada and the Philippines, aimed at improving the livelihoods and prosperity of both nations.
The celebration was also an opportunity to recognize the personal and professional connections that form the heart of the Canada-Philippines relationship.
