Choose to redirect energy to positive options, personal growth

“The best way to predict your future is to create it.” —Peter Drucker
Be free, be true, be you! The beauty of today can often get drowned out by our restless minds plagued by hurtful memories of the past and challenges of the future.
Unsure of my present legal matters, I have been so anxious on how to move forward. They say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. These days, her lawyer is her best friend!

If anything is costing you a mental breakdown, it is too expensive. It is definitely not worth it. Coming from years of letting go and realigning my new purpose, I have come to terms with fully surrendering to my faith and letting God have full control. It is the only way to continue building the best version of myself at this stage of life.

It truly is a matter of perspective. Focusing on the trauma and anxiety will only heighten toxic scenarios. By redirecting the energy to positive options and personal growth, you will find that the sun begins to shine on everything again.
Thank goodness for Bikram yoga at the Makati Studio of Ollay Aninion, whose hot yoga classes truly calm me down. Apart from the physical benefits, the sweaty session helps detox clogged arteries and helps the skin glow. My mental state is also restored with the 90-minute moving meditation.

Gut health
Aside from our physical and mental state, we should also prioritize our gut. I recently discovered Swiss Proli Lean Quick Gummies, a supplement that contains apple cider vinegar, folic acid, and nonacidic vitamin C. It’s my new go-to companion packed in a tasty, easy-to-enjoy gummy that should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach.

Lady boss Pinky Tobiano recently introduced her product that supports digestion and lowers bad cholesterol levels at Manila House. In bold shades of red, the official launch began with Swiss Proli’s brand ambassador and wellness advocate Julia Montes taking the stage.
Known not just for her onscreen charm but also her off-screen passion for health, Julia introduced the gummies alongside her business partners Tobiano, Juancho Robles, and Mac Merla. The group shares a mission close to their heart: to help Filipinos embrace everyday wellness in simple, joyful ways.

“I’m excited to introduce Swiss Proli Lean Gummies to the Philippines,” Julia said at the event. “I believe that taking care of your health should be a positive and enjoyable experience. These gummies make it easier than ever to incorporate the benefits of apple cider vinegar into your daily routine, supporting your journey to a healthier you.”

I shared Quick Lean, my tummy’s new best friend, with my Manila Golf buddies, and they all got excited about it. My golf game has also improved because, aside from being healthier, I have been practicing at the newest golf simulator, Alpha Sports Elite at Green Sun Building on Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati City.

Now open for parties and other occasions, Alpha Sports Elite offers digital golf in different golf courses all over the world. The system does swing analysis and has pressure sensors for better assessment of the shifting of weight during the swing.
I attended the official launch on the invitation of my favorite actor Derek Ramsay. I was happy to check out the retail shop selling BooYaa golf apparel.
I still need a lot of golf practice to play as well as Derek, but at least I look like a pro!

Cause for celebration
Keeping a balance in my social and sports activities, I have been attending a lot of weddings, baptisms, and despedidas. There is really so much to celebrate. My friends are old enough to have children getting married, and even older to be grandmothers like me.

My YPO BFFs Crickette Yu Tantoco and Cindy Yang invited me to celebrate their kids’ wedding, and my Assumption BFF Jojo Ongsiako invited me to the christening of another granddaughter.
Last April, newlyweds Siobhan Moylan and Bienvenido Christian Yu Tantoco tied the knot at St. James The Great Parish Church in Ayala Alabang. Their wonderful reception was held at Lakehall Sta. Elena. Christian is the only son of Donnie and Crickette Tantoco.

Last May, the youngest son of Kenneth and Cindy Yang, Keith, wed Liana Lopez, daughter of Alex and Sallie Lopez. The heartfelt wedding ceremony was at Santuario de San Antonio Parish, and the incredibly fun and gorgeous reception was held at the Grand Ballroom at Shangri-La at the Fort.
It was great to reconnect with my former YPO forum ladies and catch up with life and family. Although I am now annulled and moved past that YPO world, I have my lasting friendship with these dynamic women who have perfectly balanced career, family, and self-love. I have truly cherished all their life advice and emotional support all these years.

At the despedida of Estée Lauder lady boss Sharyn Wong, we all enjoyed an evening of happy memories. Hosted by Anton San Diego and Irene Francisco, the dinner at Manila House was so delicious. We all sent Sharyn best wishes in her new chapter. We hope to still receive lots of freebies from the next in line!
