Embrace stepping out of your comfort zone

“Time is the wisest counselor of all.” — Pericles
This full moon lunar eclipse makes it impossible for us to hide from the truth which will rise to the surface. We are officially in eclipse season, a two-week portal for immense growth and transformation. March carries the energy of renewal, transition and deeper alignment.
The month of shedding the old, it is time to welcome clarity and embrace new beginnings with an open heart. There is fresh energy for what’s to come. So, move with intention to fully receive all that the universe has to offer.
In astrology, an eclipse is a life-changing time where the spiritual aspects of the moon represent our deep emotional tides. Being open to lunar energies, my emotional patterns have been in the path of letting go and filtering all negative vibes. My current emotional cycle is being reset, revealing what has long been hidden in my subconscious. Preventing the inevitable has drained my energy and stunted my growth.

Right action
Getting out of your comfort zone is not a negative thing. Ending things and cutting off ties may be the right action to clear emotional space for new items. Wisdom and maturity could be gained during this cycle of this lunar eclipse.
A greater connection with the Divine is made possible when a lunar eclipse occurs as the lunar energy becomes more vital during this time. It can be regarded as a golden time to leave what is safe and comfortable to grow more fully into yourself.
Just for happy distraction, I had a cosmic reading with Jin Sia Barrameda. Since childhood, she has been gifted with visions, guiding those who seek clarity in love, career and life’s big mysteries. Her sought-after services include tarot and oracle readings, love and life path readings as well as crystal reiki healing. Check out her Instagram account (@miss_magical_jin) for an enlightening session.

Interior design expo
Keeping my focus on productive actions, I have reactivated my interior design skills for my special booth at the ongoing Worldbex 2025. As the Philippines’ premier design and building exposition and recognized as one of the top 10 Best Events in the Philippines, Worldbex 2025 is a four-day expo, the highlight being a gala at Okada Hotel Manila.
I joined several interior designers to the special exhibition at the World Trade Center with my booth next to Philippine Institute of Interior Design president Paolo Castro’s showcase.
For my contemporary living room/study setup, I collaborated with CWC Interiors, one of the Philippines’ top interior and architectural fit-out companies. CWC Interiors, being in the industry for the past 34 years, exclusively distributes more than 30 international furniture and architectural brands and is most known for their business of workstations and task chairs, as well as iconic furniture by midcentury and contemporary designers.

My display features CWC’s iconic midcentury pieces including the Ray and Charles Eames’ iconic lounge chair and ottoman, Eames sofa in walnut back finish and MCL black leather, Eames desk unit, aluminum high back chair, and storage unit. Adding flair to the vignette are the Eames walnut stool, Eames molded plywood coffee table, wire base low table, and the bubble pendant and lotus floor lamps by George Nelson. Come visit Worldbex 2025 ongoing until today, March 16.
As part of its celebration to mark 33 years in the furniture industry, CWC Interiors launches and inaugurates its newest home, the CWC Design Center at 814 Arnaiz Ave., Makati City. The building is its new headquarters offering 12 floors and more than 6,000 square meters of retail space, housing the company’s more than 30 international furniture brands, CWC Solutions, Camera Club of the Philippines, the House of Lucie Gallery, Green Light Productions, Mutya ng Pilipinas, and Unicorn Asia. This sets the company in a league of its own in the interior and exterior fit out industry.
President and CEO Frederick H. Yuson welcomed guests including top architects, interior designers, art enthusiasts and collectors, and officials from the Department of Tourism, Makati 1st District Rep. Romulo “Kid” Pena, and Makati 2nd District Rep. Luis Campos.

One-stop shop
The CWC Design Center will be a one-stop shop for designers and end users with its architectural and design products and will be the first of its kind to offer augmented reality to its customers. The center is also open for collaborations with art and design schools, artists exhibits, events and concerts.
On the same day, CWC Interiors also launched the MillerKnoll Collective with Kartik Shethia, managing director of MillerKnoll for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. With its theme “Redefining Modern in the 21st Century,” Shethia with his team shared to the media and its clients its vision of Design with Impact as part of its partnership with CWC Interiors in the Philippines.
The team held a symposium the day before attended by more than 150 guests which showcased a deep dive into its more than 15 brands. CWC and MillerKnoll look forward to an enduring collaboration after its more than 30 years of partnership.

Gratitude and peace
Today would have been the 63rd birthday of my late brother Louie Prieto who tragically passed away more than 30 years ago. His loss has made me value life more and made me straighten up my wayward lifestyle.
Today, I celebrate each day with my family and all my friends and spread as much happiness and good vibes as I possibly can. We should wake up every day with gratitude and peace. Life is too precious to waste on unwanted energies. There is always a chance for hope and love to grow when we have the right mindset.
