‘Eternal Blossoms’ on exhibit in Makati
Cherry DV Agoyaoy has unveiled her debut solo exhibition, “Eternal Blossoms,” featuring colorful, floral-inspired artworks.
A Filipina creative from Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, now based in Santa Maria, Bulacan, Agoyaoy is known for using upcycled fused plastic as a medium.
Her accolades include the Most Innovative ACEO Award (2023), one of Art Show Philippines’ Top 12 Best Selling Artists (2023-2024), and a Bronze Award at the 2024 Busan International Art Festival.
The “Eternal Blossoms” title reflects the lasting nature of Agoyaoy’s art, created from discarded plastic transformed into vibrant pieces that highlight the delicate balance between nature and human influence.
This exhibit is a call to action, encouraging viewers to reflect on their environmental impact while celebrating the resilience and beauty of the natural world.
The exhibit at 1159 Creative Space, 2/F Makati Central Square, Chino Roces Avenue, Legazpi Village, Makati City, runs until Jan. 4, 2025.
