Fresh takes in the retail scene
From mobile showrooms to limited-edition beauty drops, brands are finding new ways to meet consumers where they are, whether that means bringing storage solutions on the road, turning acne care into a form of self-expression, or expanding from fashion fixes into everyday personal care.
This week’s retail roundup spotlights the latest launches from Ikea Philippines, Posh Skin Co.®, and Tapies, each offering fresh takes on how we live, care, and get ready.
Ikea Philippines rolls out home furnishing bus across Metro Manila and South Luzon
Ikea Philippines is taking its storage solutions on the road with the launch of the Ikea Home Furnishing Bus, a roving showroom designed to bring home organization ideas closer to Filipino households.
Unveiled on Feb. 6, in Pasay City, the immersive bus experience will travel across Metro Manila and select destinations in Cavite, Batangas, and Laguna through April 2026. The initiative aims to make inspiration more accessible by meeting families where they are, within their own communities. The mobile showroom also allows visitors to step inside and explore fully styled storage solutions, including wardrobes, drawers, and home office systems designed for everyday living. Beyond product displays, the space highlights how smart organization can support real household routines, offering inspiration grounded in the realities of family life.

Anchored on the message “Make Space for What Matters,” the campaign frames organization not as a call to discard, but as a way to better care for meaningful belongings. Guests are encouraged to open drawers, test storage solutions, and gather ideas that adapt to changing routines and compact living spaces.
The Ikea Home Furnishing Bus tour began at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and will continue making scheduled stops around Metro Manila and South Luzon. More details are available at ikea.ph
Niana Guerrero collaborates with Posh Skin Co. on limited edition pimple patches
Posh Skin Co.® taps Filipino content creator and dance personality Niana Guerrero for a limited-edition release that puts a playful spin on everyday blemish care. The collaboration introduces “Niana’s Version Patches,” a collection that merges acne treatment with cute prints as opposed to the plain hydrocolloid rounds that pimple patches usually come with.

Personally designed by Guerrero, the patches reflect her energetic, expressive style. While the visuals are fun and eye-catching, the formulas remain rooted in skincare performance, combining salicylic acid, hydrocolloid, tea tree oil, and aloe vera to help treat breakouts while staying gentle on skin
The drop comes as Posh Skin Co.® continues to expand its footprint in the local acne-care space. Best known for its pimple patches, the brand has since grown its lineup to include a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, serum, and clay mud mask formulated with ingredients such as allantoin and centella asiatica. All products are formulated in Korea, underscoring the brand’s focus on quality-driven skincare development.

Niana’s Version Patches retail for P199 and are available through the official Posh Skin Co.® website, as well as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and select Watsons stores nationwide
Tapies expands beyond adhesives with new skin-loving deodorants
Known for its cult-favorite nipple covers and fashion tape solutions, Tapies is stepping into a new category. The brand, long associated with seamless styling and confidence-boosting wardrobe fixes, has introduced Tapies Skin, a line of deodorants designed for women constantly on the move. The launch reflects the brand’s growing focus on daily essentials, expanding its confidence-driven approach beyond fashion fixes.
The debut lineup features three variants formulated to combine sweat and odor protection with targeted skin benefits. Each product is lightweight, anti-perspirant, and designed to keep up with packed schedules, from morning commutes to after-hours plans.

The Brightening Deodorant Powder blends lactic acid and niacinamide to help visibly even out underarm skin tone while absorbing sweat. The formula aims to deliver all-day dryness without compromising comfort. For more active days, the Smooth Cooling Deodorant Powder features crystal menthol for an instant cooling effect. Fragrance-free and sweat-absorbing, it is the best option for workouts and long hours outdoors.
And completing the trio is the Pure White Deodorant Spray, formulated with 2.5 percent niacinamide. Alcohol- and fragrance-free, the spray offers a quick, on-the-go application while helping improve the look of uneven underarm tone.
All three products are priced at P189, with the powders available in 22g formats and the spray in a 50mL bottle. The collection is available via the official Tapies website and online platforms, including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop
