Fun-filled Easter and Earth Day at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort
Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort was packed full of celebrations this past week. Guests on the island joined in the family friendly Easter festivities last Sunday, April 20, and they also engaged in Earth Day commemorations on Tuesday, April 22.
Easter By The Sea
The Easter Bunny came out and led the guests through all sorts of activities like painting Easter eggs and face painting. Kids raced through the resort grounds in the Easter Egg hunt in hopes of getting more eggs. They wrapped up the morning by cracking open big white chocolate Easter eggs filled with even more treats, courtesy of the resort’s chocolatiers. In the afternoon, they played more Easter-themed games like Bunny Hop Relay. Families wrapped up the evening with a movie night at Tamsi Ballroom–with freshly made popcorn, of course.
Earth Day: Community and Care
Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort’s commitment to sustainability was on full display during Earth Day. The resort’s general manager, Thanthita Nithimetheesanont, led the cleaning up of Sunset Beach, and reminded everyone of the importance of taking care of the environment. Guests were led through several eco-friendly activities including tree planting, learning how to compost, and planting string beans (sitaw) seeds for the Chef’s Garden.
