Help kick breast cancer: Bid for these artist-designed shoes
To mark its 25th anniversary and raise funds for its breast cancer control advocacy, the ICanServe Foundation will hold a live auction Sept. 14, 6.p.m. at The Pink Room: A Gallery for Good, at L2 of The Brittany Hotel BGC.
Up for auction are 25 pairs of Nike Air Force 1 Triple White sneakers transformed into one-of-a-kind pieces by contemporary Filipino artists, led by National Artist for Visual Arts Benedicto “BenCab” Cabrera.
Joining him in the cause are Gus Albor, Arce, Max Balatbat, Plet Bolipata, Elmer Borlongan, Jinggoy Buensuceso, Carlo Calma, Katrina Cuenca, RM De Leon, Daniel dela Cruz, Monica Delgado, Tracie Anglo Dizon, Christina Dy, Manny Garibay, Toym Imao, Jose Santos III, Pam Yan Santos, Gerry Tan, Carlo Tanseco, Vien Valencia, Lydia Velasco, Ronald Ventura, Melissa Yeung Yap, and MM Yu.

In addition, every minimum donation of P500 shall be counted as a single raffle entry that gives the donor a chance to win one of two art shoes by Lilianna Manahan or Ciane Xavier, which will raffled off. Interested donors may contact ICanServe at +63 977 635-8782.
Proceeds of the auction will enable ICanServe to fund treatments and medical procedures for breast cancer patients, launch high-impact health literacy campaigns, invest in the training of public health care workers on early detection, and create breast cancer control programs, to support its mission of saving lives.
ICanServe Foundation Inc. was founded in 1999 by four breast cancer survivors who saw the need to provide a circle of support for women who were newly-diagnosed and to empower them with the right information.
