Journey to motherhood with trusted doctors, state-of-the-art care

The Makati Medical Center (MMC) has always prided itself in its exceptional combination of expertise and compassionate care for its patients. Founded in 1969, it has grown to provide medical care to individuals from even before birth up until their sunset years.
MMC’s Mommy Wellness Care offers extensive assistance throughout the journey to motherhood, including prenatal checkup, first trimester screening, ultrasound procedures (transvaginal, abdominal, 4D scan, congenital anomalies scan), laboratory tests, perinatology (for high-risk pregnancy), baby’s delivery (normal or Caesarean), postdelivery care of newborns, neonatal intensive care (for critical or ill babies), and lactation counseling.
Located at the fifth floor of Tower 2, the CP Manahan Pavilion—named after the father of modern Philippine obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Constantino P. Manahan—is a state-of-the-art facility that ensures expert care for expectant mothers and their newborns before and after delivery.
The complex boasts five cutting-edge operating and delivery rooms; three birthing suites; two high-risk rooms and four labor rooms, as well as recovery rooms, a mother-baby observation area, and a triage station for initial examination.
The facility is outfitted with Doppler and fetal monitoring equipment, and a fetal-maternal medicine ultrasound unit that does 3D or 4D ultrasound, biophysical profile, color Doppler studies, congenital anomaly scan, fetal biometry, first trimester screening, gynecological ultrasound, and intrauterine saline infusion. The birthing beds can accommodate any birthing position of a mother in labor.
Dedicated team
The complex is manned by a dedicated team of highly supervised obstetrics house staff, expertly trained nurses and operating room technicians, whose common goal is to ensure a safe and comfortable pre- and postnatal experience.
With such a trusted delivery team and rates comparable or even lower than other hospitals’ maternity packages, many doctors who hold clinics in multiple hospitals reportedly choose to deliver babies at MMC.
Maternity packages include delivery room services and basic supplies, medications, diagnostics, newborn admission care, and room and board (two days for spontaneous vaginal delivery; three days for cesarean delivery).
Spontaneous vaginal delivery packages, which include professional fees (for ob-gyn anesthesiologist, and pediatrician) are priced at P168,000 (with small private room) and P144,100 (with semiprivate room). Excluding professional fees, rates go for as low as P72,000 for the former and P70,000 for the latter.
Cesarean delivery packages with professional fee inclusions are P223,000 for a small private room, and P182,900 for a semiprivate room. Cesarean delivery packages without professional fees are valued at P88,000 and P85,000, respectively.
Regardless of the room type, moms who avail themselves of any of the maternity packages get their choice of celebratory meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner).
All patients who give birth at MMC also receive a baby bag containing newborn essentials like baby clothes, baby carrier, and mug. While not included regularly, different sponsors may also add items like diapers, baby wipes, baby body wash, rash cream, nipple cream, malunggay capsules, and shampoo.
Situated within the Makati Central Business District, MMC is conveniently walkable from several hotels and serviced apartments like The Mini Suites Eton Tower Makati and Seda Residences.
