K-stars take Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week saw a lot of Korean celebrities. There were familiar faces, but there were also those making their debut at the fashion extravaganza.
Starting off strong were Blackpink members, who continuously rule with their polished style. Jisoo went preppy with a black blazer, knee-high socks and platform shoes to attend Dior’s showcase as their global ambassador. Her hair was styled into Wednesday Addams braids, which she finished off with black bows.
Rosé arrived in her sheer brown dress, shades and an attitude that screamed “icon” for Saint Laurent as its global ambassador.
Chanel muse Jennie chose to show her playful side in a strappy layered dress, thigh-high boots and a hairstyle that harked back to the ’90s. She also donned a leather trench on the streets of Paris.
Lisa attended Louis Vuitton’s fashion show wearing a beautiful embroidered jacket from the 2018 spring/summer collection. She completed her look with black leather shorts, thigh-high stockings and carried a Petite Malle bag.
Nicolas Ghesquière’s love affair with fashion and architecture continued this year. The women’s creative director of Louis Vuitton held his show at the Louvre. To mark his 10th anniversary with the brand, the runway was adorned with a futuristic chandelier designed by Philippe Parreno.
Felix of Stray Kids made his debut on the runway for this event. This came as a surprise to his fans because they were only expecting him to attend as a global ambassador. He wore a white long-sleeved turtleneck top with fur gloves and white and silver monogrammed pants. He also carried a handbag. Felix wore his blonde hair slicked back as he led the models for the final walk of the show.
Sitting on the Vuitton front row was Twice’s Nayeon. She shone in her cardigan top, ruffled skirt and thigh-high boots.
Twice’s Momo also looked especially radiant in a denim crop top that showed off her toned back.
“It” girl Wonyoung of IVE donned a collared white shirt and tennis skirt, while (G)I-dle Minnie went for a denim jacket and shorts.
The maknae (youngest) of the Stray Kids, I.N, attended Alexander McQueen’s show in a black leather trench coat and denim pants. I.N is an ambassador for the house.
Seungmin was easy to spot in his neon green fuzzy top at Loewe’s show. This was a nice, playful break from his usual classic style.
Seventeen’s Mingyu trended when he attended Dior’s show. He was all smiles as he interacted with the fans who came to see him. Fellow Seventeen member Jeonghan returned to Paris for Saint Laurent. The members of ILLIT also trended over the weekend as they made their debut at Paris Fashion Week ahead of their official debut as a group. They were invited to attend Acne Studios’ show. INQ
