Fear is real. As we are challenged to move beyond our comfort zone, we get stuck focusing on the hurdles and barriers between us and what we want. We forget to look beyond the temporary situation and remember instead what is up for grabs. Being excited about what could go right is a state of mind that promotes inspiration and growth.
Even if we are biologically programmed to live in our safe zone, we have a choice to discover what is possible and live every minute with love, grace and gratitude. Much time is often wasted on worry and anxiety of things to come. The happiest people I know understand how to live in the present moment and embrace everything with compassion.
Ultimately, the best way to create the life you wish is to start living that vision. It is all about perspective. Fresh from my weekend travels to Hong Kong, I realize we can always make new happy memories instead of dwelling on the problems that need to be resolved.
