Returning global acts and local faves lead a packed PH concert season

Allan Policarpio

As we move into this year’s second quarter, the live events scene in the Philippines is only picking up. The coming months feature a steady run of returning global acts, homegrown headliners, and even fan meets featuring Korean superstars. Whether you’re into pop, R&B, indie, jazz, or just need a bit of kilig, the 2026 calendar has something for everyone.

Jessica Sanchez – “The Homecoming”

May 16 at Smart Araneta Coliseum

After her historic win in “America’s Got Talent” Season 20 and her New Year’s Eve outing in Manila, Jessica Sanchez returns to the Big Dome to kick off her upcoming concert tour. “Just as the Filipino community embraces me, I want to embrace them back and give them all that I have and put them first in this,” the powerhouse vocalist says.

For fans who have followed her journey—from her “American Idol” days to her recent motherhood—this homecoming is a celebration of an artist who has finally established her place as a global talent.

Daniel Caesar – “Son of Spergy”

May 19, 20, 21 at SM Mall of Asia Arena

The R&B crooner’s connection with his Manila audience has always been a passionate one, and his return for his first-ever arena tour is expected to be another raw, gospel-infused affair.

Known for his ability to turn arenas into intimate spaces, Caesar’s three-night stint is expected to showcase his soulful mastery through hits like “Best Part,” “Get You,” and “Always” as well as new cuts from “Son of Spergy”—his fourth album of the same title, which explores faith and his reconciliation with his parents.

Laufey – “A Matter of Time”

May 26, 27, 28 at SM Mall of Asia Arena

After three albums, two Grammy Awards, and a handful of hits, Laufey has proven that jazz isn’t just for the older generation but also for young dreamers.

The singer-songwriter, who played multiple sold-out shows in Manila in 2024, is bringing back her modern-vintage sound in a show replete with stories told through cellos, bossa nova flourishes, and old-world whimsy—as heard in “Valentine,” “Let You Break My Heart Again,” and “From the Start.”

Kim Seon-ho – “Love Factory”

May 31 at Smart Araneta Coliseum

Fresh off the viral fame for his “smile and wink” wedding scene in “When Life Gives You Tangerines” and his multilingual role as “Mr. Papago” in “Can This Love Be Translated,” Korean star Kim Seon-ho returns to Manila for another evening of laughter, charm, and the signature smile that has launched a million TikTok challenges across the globe.

Bini – “Signals”

June 20 and 21 at SM Mall of Asia Arena

July 11 at SM Seaside Cebu Arena

Still riding the momentum of their historic Coachella debut—the first all-Filipino girl group to perform at the festival—Bini is further amplifying their global presence with the “Signals” world tour. Marking a milestone in their journey from local sweethearts to a rising international act, the show promises high-energy choreography, strong vocals, and an infectious stage presence that has recently had the world talking.

XG – “The Core”

July 22 at SM Mall of Asia Arena

Unbound by convention, XG (Xtraordinary Genes)—the only Japanese act to headline the Sahara stage at Coachella—returns to Manila for their second world tour, “The Core.” The event will showcase the group’s first full album of the same title, which features the singles “Gala,” “4 Seasons,” and “Hypnotized.”

Known for their strong rapping, sharp choreography, and otherworldly visuals, the group is also expected to inspire dance-offs and sing-along sessions with hits like “Woke Up” and “Left Right.”

Kodaline – “The Farewell”

Aug. 10 at SM Mall of Asia Arena

As they embark on their final tour, the Irish rock band Kodaline may well have you reaching for tissues as you belt out “All I Want” for the last time in a room full of hopeless romantics who found solace in their music. This tour marks the end of an era for the band, which announced its disbandment last October after 21 years of crafting a vulnerable and anthemic indie folk discography.

Honne – “10-Year Anniversary”

Aug. 10, 11, 12 at PICC Plenary Hall

While arenas roar, British electronic soul duo Honne is opting for something more sophisticated. For their 10th anniversary tour, they’re serving up a stripped-back showcase of their first two albums, “Warm on a Cold Night” and “Love Me/Love Me Not.”

Featuring special guest Beka, the show coincides with their new release, “Honne-10,” which revisits their synth-driven classics.

Post Malone – “The Big Ass”

Sept. 29 at Philippine Arena

Nine-time Diamond-certified superstar Post Malone brings his genre-blurring stage spectacle, following the success of his debut country album “F-1 Trillion.” Released in 2024, the record saw Post venturing into country pop and collaborating with artists like Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, and Dolly Parton.

The show promises a career-spanning set that features his breakthrough rap hits together with his newer country-leaning material like “I Had Some Help” and “Pour Me a Drink.”

Charlie Puth | Photo from Charlie Puth/Facebook

Charlie Puth – “Whatever’s Clever!”

Oct. 14 at SM Mall of Asia Arena

Charlie Puth is a master of the pop hook, and his “Whatever’s Clever!” world tour is set to keep audiences hooked from start to finish.

Known for his perfect pitch and his penchant for “deconstructing” his hits live on stage, Puth’s show is as much for music nerds as it is for fans of his head-bobbing pop. He last performed in Manila in 2016 and has since released three albums, “Voicenotes,” “Charlie,” and “Whatever’s Clever,” along with hits like “Attention,” “Light Switch,” and “Home.” Clearly, after a 10-year absence, he returns with plenty still up his sleeve.

Lany – “Soft”

Nov. 6 and 12 at SM Seaside Cebu Arena

Nov. 7 and 8 at the Philippine Arena

Nov. 14 Crocodile Park Concert Grounds, Davao

At this point, they might as well be honorary Filipinos. Lany isn’t just stopping by for one show—the pop duo is bringing their “Soft” world tour to three cities across the Philippines. With shows in Cebu, Bulacan, and Davao, this multi-city takeover only proves that, despite having performed in the country countless times, Lany’s quintessential synthpop heartbreak remains as resonant as ever.
