Self-care includes setting boundaries

Avatar

“Compassion for myself is the most powerful healer of them all.” —Theodore Isaac Rubin

One of the most crucial, and sometimes overlooked, parts of self-care is learning how to set boundaries. It is so important to be open and honest with others about your needs, and to advocate for yourself in times of strife. Sometimes, there are situations that ask too much of you, or intrude too deeply into your space, be it physical or mental.

Setting intentions at Tulsi at The Farm

In my quest for inner peace and stable love, I have had to compromise my boundaries to end an argument or settle a dispute. Unfortunately, this condition chips away bits of pride and self-worth, and often creates a negative headspace over time.

At this stage of my life where I am in a major crossroad of shifting energies and redirecting goals, I am so privileged to be given a weekend of wellness at The Farm in San Benito. The Longevity Wellness Package is hosted by Tulsi Wellness Club, a luxury concierge clinic offering personalized holistic programs that center on the most advanced cell therapy.

Upon registering at The Farm at San Benito, I was welcomed by their GM, Preet Inder Singh, who eagerly toured me around the resort and the new restaurants. The country’s premier eco-luxury holistic medical wellness resort is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with California-based Tulsi Wellness Club. This collaboration merges The Farm’s world-class integrative medical wellness approach with Tulsi’s cutting-edge regenerative therapies, setting a new benchmark for longevity and holistic health in the Philippines.

My cell therapy session was truly unforgettable. Dr. CJ asked me to make personal intentions before the stem cells were injected, and it got a bit emotional. The program is my gift to myself for all that I have been through, and in my continuous journey to find my true purpose and happiness. It helped me feel so physically and emotionally empowered.

So upon checking out at The Farm, I went straight to Makati City Hall for some legal matters with my lawyers from Divina Law, to set proper boundaries and defend myself.

Golf tourney

The next day, I headed south to the 8th Wilcon Cup at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club. The annual golf tournament of Wilcon Depot had more than a hundred participants, including Wilcon’s longtime industry partners, media friends, international and local suppliers, and the ever-spirited Wilcon’s team.

Beyond the game, the event championed meaningful causes which benefits organizations dedicated to environmental and social initiatives.

With so much to celebrate and be thankful for, I decided to host an “8-in-1 party” for all the celebrations: from Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day, February birthdays, my new show in Bilyonaryo News Channel, to so many more. We launched the Tulsi Wellness Club video as well with a short talk of Tulsi’s Dr. CJ.
