Strong friendship with PH central to Brunei Nat’l Day celebration

During the recent 40th Brunei National Day celebration at Dusit Thani in Makati City, there was also a special focus on the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei and the Philippines.

The two countries have enjoyed cooperation in many fields, including in defense, trade, health, education, culture, tourism and human resources. The recent entry into force of our bilateral Double Taxation Agreement looks to strengthen economic relations, especially in attracting foreign direct investment in strategic industries such as the halal sector.
