‘The featured artworks and artists inspired me so much’

I used to clip stacks of Inquirer’s Arts and Books section in my late teens to my early 20s. The featured artworks and artists inspired me so much, such as those of Jose Legaspi. It inspired me to paint during an intense period in my life.
I was more of a recluse back then. I spent a lot of time painting and playing guitar. Those paintings are now all hanging on our stairwell wall, still making my kids wonder why I created those artworks.
