What’s your Inquirer story?
In its almost four decades of existence, the Philippine Daily Inquirer has touched many lives. We’ve heard plenty of stories and witnessed great moments over the years—young writers who first got published in Youngblood, longtime subscribers who now share the newspaper with their grandkids, student correspondents who found their wings here, homegrown brands whose path to success started with a feature, flailing businesses that got a boost during the pandemic, mothers who cried after being honored in our Mother Day’s special, a street vendor whose life changed after just one article—the list goes on and on.
We love these stories. They inspire us to keep doing the work that we do and serving our readers in the best way we could.
As we celebrate our 39th year, we asked people to share their Inquirer stories.
Here are theirs.
- ‘I gained self-confidence to pursue writing full-time’
- ‘The featured artworks and artists inspired me so much’
- ‘It was only Inquirer that accurately reported the truth’
- Quiz bee champ prepared by reading Inquirer
- ‘The Inquirer fueled my passion for storytelling’
