Which celebrities attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s flashy Italian wedding?

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez were said to have spent $50 million on their lavish Italian wedding, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The three-day extravaganza sparked major backlash as locals threatened to fill the Venice canals with inflatable crocodiles to block their guests’ arrival. But nothing stops a raging billionaire and his wealthy friends. More than 90 private jets flooded the Marco Polo airport to attend the outrageous affair.
The guestlist consisted of fellow billionaires and Hollywood celebrities alike, adding up to a total net worth of about $435 billion. Granted, a large part of that number can be attributed to Bezos himself, but a few of his guests make a significant contribution. Here’s a list of the celebrities who attended the grand nuptials.

Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey was among the billionaires in attendance. She was all smiles accompanied by her long-time friend American broadcast journalist Gayle King. King was one of six passengers (along with the bride, Lauren Sanchez) who flew in Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket to space, which carried an all-female crew funded, of course, by Bezos.
Bill Gates
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates was also spotted in Venice with his girlfriend Paula Hurd. Another billionaire, media mogul Barry Diller is said to have graced the event as well.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti
Actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio may have tried to hide, but he’s all dressed for the occasion. DiCaprio was joined by 27-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti at the widely protested event.
Usher and Tom Brady
Usher doubled as a guest and a wedding performer at this star-studded event. NFL star Tom Brady was also seen in attendance.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner
Kendall Jenner wore a slim-fitting black dress and draped herself in a matching scarf for the festivities, while Kylie Jenner wore a lingerie-like silver gown.

Kim and Khloé Kardashian
Reality TV star sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian were also in attendance, accompanied by their mother Kris Jenner.
Orlando Bloom
Orlando Bloom was spotted solo after rumors circulated that he and Katy Perry have called it quits.

Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and Karlie Kloss
Spouses Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner came to celebrate the nuptials. Bezos famously donated $1 million to Trump’s inaugural fund in 2024. They are joined by model Karlie Kloss, who is married to Joshua Kushner.
Sydney Sweeney
Sydney Sweeney is practically everywhere, including the so-called wedding of the century.
Ellie Goulding
“Love Me Like You Do” singer Ellie Goulding joined the festivities as well.
A troubled affair
The Bezos-Sanchez wedding drew both celebrity attendance and widespread controversy, especially from Venice locals and environmental activists.
Amid protests, Bezos donated $1.17 million to three environmental research organizations dedicated to the preservation of Venice, but you can’t just throw money at a sinking city. Locals made it clear that they could not be bought as Flavio Cogo, a resident and demonstrator stated, “Those donations are just a misery and only aimed at clearing Bezos’ conscience.”
A massive banner at the Piazza San Marco read, “If you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more tax.” Other placards and signs read, “This marriage celebrates obscene wealth and inequality,” and “118,000 Italian shops killed by Amazon.”
