“Moving Still,” Nicole Bitas’ first solo exhibition running until April 27 at Galerie Stephanie, is an exploration of the in-between moments of life in movement.

The beauty of the pauses is often overshadowed by the presence of momentous chapters.

Bitas, a visual artist who draws inspiration from the mundanity of everyday life, encourages viewers to participate in the stillness in motion, showcasing bits and pieces of the journey shared in intimacy through body language portrayed by the subjects.

“For Keeps”

“Moving Still” is an exhibition of the perpetual movement of life, a snowball of mundane little moments maturing into lasting impressions of objects, people, and places.
