‘Your small, consistent gestures created my definition of love’
Dear Nanay,
One of my fondest memories will always be how you would take me with you on your morning walks around your beautiful orchid garden when I was a child. I think that is why orchids are my favorite flower, as they always remind me of you.
I remember our shopping dates at Rustan’s Cebu when it was still on Mango Avenue, where you taught me how to develop a style that is particularly timeless. And today, I apply it not only to myself, but in my brand, as well.
Your unquestionable devotion to family, especially with your home-cooked meals, is what I like to believe keeps our bonds strong.
It is because of you that I appreciate the little moments—morning garden walks, hearty breakfasts, shopping dates and more.
Through you, it isn’t the grand gestures but the consistent and small ones that created my definition of love.
You truly are a remarkable woman, and I’m so blessed to have you in my life.
Love you, Nanay.
Neil
