Three typhoons, namely: Crisping, Dante and Emong may have been ravaging the country for more than a week now. But this predicament did not stop Hyundai Motor Philippines from introducing its own three haymakers “right at the middle of the storm.”
On a gloomy late weekday afternoon, the South Korean carmaker overcame a juggernaut of obstacles by bringing out a bit of sunshine to its slated venue, the Ayala Museum in Makati City, by rolling out the all-new Palisade Hybrid, the latest addition to its growing lineup of hybrid SUVs and the full-sized E-SUV, Ioniq 9, as well as an improved Ioniq 5.
Redefined sophisticated green mobility
With everybody going green nowadays, Hyundai likewise upped the ante for its newest Palisade by introducing its own hybrid version. This premium seven-seater now tweaked its capabilities to cater more to the modern Filipino ready for the future of technology.

Front and center is its integrated 12.3-inch digital instrument display, together with a head-up display, wherein the vehicle’s speed is displayed in the driver’s field of vision. This goes along with a more efficient drive mode integrated control.
To add entertainment on a rainy afternoon, its BOSE premium sound system provides high-quality listening for comfort and relaxation, not to mention seamless visibility with its rain-sensored wipers.
Moreover, to further elevate comfort and convenience, occupants are treated with power seats, passenger lumbar support, and ventilated rear seats. Both first and second rows are fitted with relaxation seats, while at the center is a deluxe console box with UV-C tray.

This all-new Palisade Hybrid is priced at P3,980,000.00 and is available in four colors: Abyss Black Pearl, Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Creamy White Pearl, and Robust Emerald Pearl.
Full-sized electrification
HMPH even wasted no time and maximized the drenched afternoon to further awe its guests and the media by bringing to our shores its biggest electric vehicle to date–the full-sized E-SUV, Ioniq 9.
The vehicle is perfect for families, and probably the whole gang as it can seat six full adults. What’s more is that it boasts sedan-like aerodynamics within a confident SUV frame, providing top-notch character and drivability.
On the outside, it features cube projection headlights, digital side mirrors, and digital center mirror.

Inside, it can provide superior space and comfort. With a 3,130mm- wheelbase and spacious six-seat configuration, the cabin features comfort seats and full-flat capacity, creating a lounge-like vibe, while bringing a versatile 1,323L of cargo space.
Furthermore, the panoramic curved infotainment display seamlessly integrates digital controls and connectivity, offering intuitive access to navigation, entertainment, as well as vehicle functions and information. It also sports a BOSE sound system, together with a built-in front and back camera which acts as an integrated dashcam.

The Ioniq 9 starts at P4,580,000.00 and comes in a range of ten sophisticated exterior colors and four interior colors, which can be mixed and matched to up to 39 combinations.
Improved award-winning electric mobility
Lastly, along with these newest models from HMPH is the introduction of the latest Ioniq 5.
It now features a redesigned front bumper and new alloy wheels giving it a more modern design and improved aerodynamics. Adding to its award-winning pedigree are its newly-added rear wiper and digital side mirrors.
Performance is up a notch now delivering up to 530km of all-electric range (AER) on a single charge. With a maximum output of 225hp, it’s more refined and responsive than ever.

Inside is its V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) function, enabling users to power small appliances or charge devices directly from the vehicle. This also brings additional advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features, expanding Hyundai SmartSense capabilities including the reverse parking collision avoidance assist and side parking distance warning.
The new Ioniq 5 is offered in three variants: EV GL 2WD Standard Range – P2,840,000.00; EV GLS 2WD Standard Range – P3,068,000.00 and the EV GLS 2WD Long Range – P3,698,000.00.
The vehicle is made-to-order, available in nine exterior and four interior colors – allowing up to 36 different color combinations.
