To get one of the highest growth rates in the local car industry, you need to be available wherever and whenever your customers need you.

Selling 12,023 units in a year, up a staggering 32 percent from 2023, was no easy feat. That’s why Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) had pushed hard to grow its nationwide dealer network to 36 showrooms by the end of last year.

This huge effort by the South Korean carmaker paid off – it placed eighth among the top 10 best-selling manufacturers of 2024, according to a report by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI).

We take a look back at the six dealers that HMPH inaugurated last year, which helped make its vehicles and services more accessible to Filipinos.

Greater Luzon presence

Hyundai Bacoor in Cavite was the final dealership that HMPH opened in 2024.

Located on Lot 4627-D-2 Molino Boulevard, Barangay Mambog IV in Bacoor City, the 2,129 square-meter facility has a showroom that fits up to six vehicles, as well as a service area with seven bays. It is also the first HMPH dealer under multi-brand automotive distributor Borromeo Motoring Group.

Meanwhile, the ANC+ Group of Companies kicked off its partnership with HMPH by inaugurating two facilities in Luzon. The first is the Hyundai Abad Santos dealership – located close to the bustling Binondo commercial center in Manila, it features a 294-square-meter showroom can display up to three cars, while its service area can handle four cars.

The second is the Hyundai Pop-Up Store in Marilao, Bulacan. With a 168-square-meter showroom, customers can check out the latest Hyundai model, while the dedicated service bays can accommodate vehicles needing maintenance and repairs.

Hyundai in tourist hotspots

Speaking of HMPH Pop-Up Stores, the company also opened one on the picturesque island of Palawan with the help of Auto Artist Incorporated.

Located at the ground floor of Robinson’s Puerto Princesa, the 140.25-square-meter facility has a two-car display, a media wall, a lounge for private consultations and a configurator wall. The outlet offers a more personalized and lifestyle-centered approach to buying a brand-new Hyundai.

The “Queen City of the South” likewise got a new dealership last year – Hyundai Cebu Talisay officially opened last November with a 1,695 square-meter showroom that can house up to four vehicles, as well as fully equipped service bays. It is located at the Autocentral Autoplex Building, South Reclamation Project, San Roque, Talisay City.

Hyundai Cebu Talisay is operated by Auto Global Inc. and is located just 10 kilometers from Metro Cebu, close to the South Coastal Highway that runs through Talisay.

1 more in Mindanao

Finally, the Mindanao region got a new Hyundai dealership last year in Cagayan de Oro, as part of the carmaker’s first-ever partnership with the Autocentral Group.

The facility spans 1,300 square meters with a showroom that fits up to two display vehicles. Dedicated service bays are also available for customers who need to bring their vehicles in for check-ups and repairs.

In addition, Hyundai Cagayan de Oro is equipped with authorized Hyundai Mobile Service units, which are Staria Cargo vans loaded with service tools and equipment ready to attend to customers in need anywhere within the city.

Given how strongly HMPH performed last year with the help of these new dealerships, expect greater sales as it targets 46 dealers in the Philippines in 2025.
