Two brands, one dealership venue–and in this case, two launches, yes, we witnessed the dealership opening of BAIC and Chery Auto Philippines, which are both under United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI). This endeavor is then partnered with Wheels Inc., one of the country’s most respected and established automotive dealer groups.

“We want that Chery and BAIC share the same showroom here in Quezon Avenue. We will create a stronger market visibility, better customer accessibility and improved operational synergy,” Wheels, Inc chairman of the board Escorton “Gordon” Teng said.

“Our goal is to provide customers not only with Chery’s innovative vehicle lineup, but also with a dealership experience anchored on trust, convenience, and excellent customer care,” he added.

Strategically located at 602 Quezon Avenue cor. Tuayan Street, Quezon City, the new dealership offers customers in the vicinity and nearby areas greater accessibility to the two brands’ growing lineup of innovative SUVs and electrified vehicles, as well as aftersales support.

Gracing the opening ceremony other than the chairman are Wheels, Inc. executives: senior vice president and treasurer Antonio Teng; senior vice president for marketing Frederick Teng; vice president for marketing Albern Teng, and vice president for sales, finance, and insurance marketing Bernadette Goh-Sy.

Also joining the occasion were executives from UAAGI, including CAP brand head Franz Decloedt, UAAGI Auto Group chief marketing executive and senior vice president Lyn Buena, UAAGI deputy director Joshua Sytin, and UAAGI Auto Group Dealer Development Department director Engr. Marvin Martinez.

Also with them were BAIC brand head, Timothy Sytin and marketing head, May Moreno-de los Santos.

“Our current new energy SUV lineups are already on Philippine roads today. Built for our families, our conditions, and the way Filipinos drive. So their response has been encouraging,” shared Sytin.

“This market is ready, and BAIC is well positioned to be a strong player in the market,” he added.

“Our owners are not just drivers.
They are advocates, and they truly share their experience together with welcoming new members of the community.”
