Castrol launches Power1 Ultimate for PH motorcyclists
Castrol unveiled a pair of new motorcycle lubricants on Friday at the 20th Inside Racing Bike Festival & Trade Show at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
The multinational brand, which is distributed locally by North Trend Marketing Corporation, introduced Castrol Power1 Ultimate Superbike 10W-50 with Racing Ester Formula, along with Castrol Power1 Ultimate 10W-40. These new fully synthetic oils cater primarily to big-bike owners and promise high-temperature stability for demanding local riding conditions.
“Our primary goal is to bring the riding experience of big bike riders to the next level by providing them more power, endurance, confidence and excellent acceleration,” said North Trend Marketing Corporation Ronald Ang in a press statement.
“Motorcycles, just like us, experience fatigue and stress,” he added. “We need to give them proper care, the right products and careful attention. Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE goes the extra mile to provide and protect your bike and its engine.”
Race performance for the road
North Trend Marketing Corporation said in a press statement that its new Castrol Power1 Ultimate lubricants are a result of growing number of big bikes in the country that are being used for both daily commutes and weekend rides.
“A vibrant big bike culture is thriving, with owners, enthusiasts and riding clubs often gathering at coffee shops or going on long rides with like-minded adventure-seekers on long adventures,” the company said.
It added that Castrol Power1 Ultimate Superbike 10W-50 features a 5-in-1 Racing Ester Formula used by the Castrol racing team to provide “excellent acceleration and protection, smooth riding and enduring performance while keeping the engine cool throughout.”
The new lubricants, which can also be used on smaller bikes, add to the company’s extensive lineup of oils for two-wheelers – this includes Castrol Activ Essential, Castrol Activ and Castrol Power1.
