Chery Auto Ph showcases New Energy Vehicles at UAAGI Media Ride and Drive
Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) flaunted its New Energy Vehicle (NEV) line-up at the first UAAGI Media Ride and Drive held at the ACEA Subic Beach Resort.
CAP invited motoring, tech, and lifestyle media for an opportunity to experience first-hand the performance, advanced features, and driving capabilities of its three (3) NEVS: the soon-to-be-launched Tiggo 7 Pro Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), the seven-seat- er SUV Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV, and the full electric vehicle – eQ7.
Demonstrating Chery’s dedication to combining advanced technology and sustainability of its vehicles through the QPower architecture, these NEVS highlighted the brand’s commitment to be at the forefront of change in promoting the New Era of Green Mobility.
CAP prides its vehicles on PHEV technology as the perfect solution for customers apprehensive about electrification due to range anxiety issues.
The Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV and Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV are powered by an internal combustion engine with two electric motors equipped with a 19.27kWh ternary lithium battery which can offer a good balance between electric vehicle (EV) Mode for short trips, and gasoline or hybrid modes for long distance travels.
The Tiggo 7 PHEV is slated to be available in the Philippine automotive market very soon.
The eQ7 is a fully electric compact SUV with an all-aluminum body structure. This electrified vehicle has a driving range of more than 500 kilometers.
The eQ7’s dual armor protection creates the safest battery in its class, guaranteeing the customers’ peace of mind.
The eQ7’s L2+ semi-autonomous driving system includes a complete and multi-scenario Advance Driver Assistance system which will make the drive easier and safe. This vehicle is also equipped with Driver Monitoring System to monitor the state of the driver in real time providing safety and protection, especially on long distance driving.
“As the brand continues to drive towards the path of sustainable mobility, Chery has equipped its new energy vehicles with QPower technology which embodies Chery’s global pursuit of efficiency, sustainability, and intelligence in NEVS. Chery also continues to complement its current vehicle lineup with new energy derivatives,” United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) Group Managing Director Froilan Dytianquin said.
The event successfully showcased UAAGI and Chery’s commitment to innovation and excellence, leaving a lasting impression to all participants.
