Press Release

Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Chevrolet in the Philippines, ushers in a new chapter of sustainable mobility with the introduction of Chevrolet’s latest electrified models – the All-New Spark EUV, All-New Captiva EV, and All-New Captiva PHEV. This milestone marks Chevrolet’s expanded commitment to delivering cleaner, smarter, and more efficient mobility solutions tailored to evolving driving needs.

The All-New Chevrolet Spark EUV is a compact, yet capable electric vehicle engineered for modern urban mobility. Agile, stylish, and easy to maneuver, it is designed for drivers seeking a sustainable solution that seamlessly fits fast-paced city living while still delivering Chevrolet’s hallmark reliability, and everyday practicality.

On the exterior, the Spark EUV showcases a modern-retro, boxy design, available in striking dual-tone finishes such as Sea Blue with a White roof, Track Yellow and Gentle Gray with a Black roof, as well as a refined monotone Milky Tea option. Beyond its standout boxy design, it also features Adaptive Forward Lighting and Auto LED Headlights that enhance both convenience and style, perfectly complementing its confident urban presence.

Inside, driver and passengers are welcomed by its tactile yet tech-forward cabin that blends comfort, convenience, and connectivity. A 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay takes center stage, while an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster provides intuitive access to key vehicle information such as battery level and travel range.

Powering the All-New Spark EUV is an advanced electric drivetrain, featuring a 75-kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) paired with a 41.9 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery, delivering 102 PS of power and 180 Nm of torque. Further enhancing this setup is a smooth and responsive driving experience, matched by a remarkable range of up to 360 kilometers (NEDC). The Spark EUV is equipped with a CCS2 Charging Port, offering flexible charging options, including a 6.6 kW AC charging capacity for overnight convenience, a 50 kW DC fast charging capability that restores 30-80% of battery in just 35 minutes, and a 2.9 kW portable charger for added versatility.

Safety is a key strength of the All-New Spark EUV, featuring an advanced suite of driver-assist technologies as part of its ADAS system. These include Intelligent Driving Assist (with Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Jam Assist) Cruise Control on Curves, Front Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Emergency Lane Keeping, and a 360° Panoramic Camera that provides drivers with a complete view of their surroundings for easier parking and enhanced situational awareness. With its well-balanced combination of smart technology, and efficient electric performance, the All-New Spark EUV presents a compelling entry point into electrified mobility blending intelligence, safety, and style for the ultimate urban driving experience.

On the other hand, the All-New Captiva EV and All-New Captiva PHEV are designed for families, offering solutions for driving needs. The Captiva EV delivers a lower total cost of ownership – as it does not require oil changes or filter replacements; it offers full-electric, zero-emission driving with a smooth and quiet ride. The Captiva PHEV provides extended driving range by combining electric efficiency with hybrid versatility, making it ideal for both city commutes and long-distance journeys. Both models feature spacious interiors, thanks to a long 2,800 mm wheelbase, advanced technology for convenience and connectivity.

On the exterior, the Captiva EV and Captiva PHEV project a bold and sophisticated presence, with their differences reflected in their color treatments. The Captiva EV is available in Sandy White, Shadow Golden, Laser Gray, and Khaki Green, all paired with a Black roof. Meanwhile, the Captiva PHEV comes in the same colors but in monotone finishes. Both are equipped with High Beam Assist/IntelliBeam®, Auto Light Control, Corner Light Function, and Follow Me Home, enhancing visibility, convenience, and safety while ensuring a commanding stance on city streets and highways. Interior-wise, the cabins are designed with drivers and families in mind, featuring a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless smartphone integration.

Safety is a cornerstone of both the Captiva EV and PHEV, featuring an advanced suite of driver-assist technologies as part of its ADAS systems. These include Intelligent Driving Assist (with Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Jam Assist) Cruise Control on Curves, Front Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Emergency Lane Keeping, and a 360° Panoramic Camera, offering a full view of the vehicle’s surroundings for easier parking.

The key distinction between the two lies in their powertrain and range capabilities. The Captiva EV delivers a pure 100% electric driving experience, powered by a 150 kW PMSM motor and a 60 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, enabling long-distance, zero-emission driving with an electric range of up to 415 km (NEDC). Meanwhile, the Captiva PHEV pairs the same 150 kW PMSM motor with a 20.5 kWh Lithium Iron Phospate Battery and 1.5L Engine for its hybrid system, offering approximately 1040km combined driving range (NEDC), providing maximum versatility for both city commuting and extended road trips. This combination of efficiency, flexibility, and performance ensures that both models cater to different driving needs while maintaining Chevrolet’s signature comfort and reliability.
