Dongfeng on a roll

Avatar

As if rebranding and launching a new marketing campaign were not enough, Dongfeng Motors again came out swinging with the unveiling of its own grand caravan at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City recently.

Dubbed “#WeTime,” this grand caravan reinvented the concept of “Me Time,” usually associated with self-care, by transforming the affair into a shared experience among friends and family.

At Dongfeng Motors (DFM), cars are seen as more than just everyday vehicles—rather, they are trusted partners and companions in everyday life. Here, it was highlighted that there is a diverse range of cars within the Dongfeng ecosystem being offered.

For one, the venue was designed to resemble a DFM City, where themed interactive activities let everyone have fun and enjoy their moments with Dongfeng’s own vehicles.

Aeolus Mage

This takes the mantle as the brand’s handsome active crossover SUV. This stud dons a sporty and dynamic character on the outside, while providing a comfortable and spacious interior cabin. Some of its creature comforts include the 13.2-inch Super HD Touchscreen Display and Gamepad multi-functional steering wheel. It packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 203hp and 305 N-m of torque to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission. The Mage is tagged at P1,249,000.

This vehicle, at that time, was on promo for only P68,000 all-in down payment and P25,626 monthly amortization for 60 months.

Nammi EV

The vehicle, meanwhile, is the brand’s compact electric vehicle (EV) that fits the needs of the daily driver. This one’s perfect for the classic urbanite who yearns for a vehicle that could carry the demands of his everyday living as it can squeeze out a maximum range of 430 km, capable of an efficient 30-minute fast-charging capability. This Nammi can be had for just P1,238,000.

The Nammi EV was likewise on low down payment promo for only P68,000 all-in down payment and P25,420 monthly amortization for 60 months.

Forthing U-Tour

On the other hand, the Forthing U-Tour MPV is an Innova-fighter with its spacious yacht-like interiors, highlighted by luxury captain seats. Under its hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gas engine that churns out 197hp and 285 N-m of torque. It looks promising with its bang-for-the-buck package for just P1,358,000.

Those who want to upgrade their ride with a ‘big tour guide’ can get their own Forthing U-Tour starting at P78,000-downpayment, while monthly amortization starts at P27,884 for 60 months.

Aside from these, there were also other vehicles under the marque that were on display during that weekend.

Likewise present were the DFM management team headed by managing director, Atty. Albert Arcilla; product planning and development-director, Dave Zaballero; sales director, Leah Avante, and business development director, Victor Delarmente.
