Electrified sedan
Lexus Philippines has officially launched the All-New Lexus ES, bringing the latest generation of its executive sedan to the local market with a choice of hybrid and fully electric powertrains.
The Philippine lineup consists of three variants: the ES 350h Executive, ES 350h Luxury, and the all-electric ES 350e. Prices start at P4.108 million and go up to P5.688 million for the ES 350e.
The new ES gets a major redesign while keeping the comfort-focused character that has defined the model. Lexus has given the sedan a sleeker, fastback-inspired shape, cleaner bodywork, and a new interpretation of its spindle front design.
It is also a sizeable car, having grown significantly compared to the previous generation to allow for larger backseat room. The hybrid versions measure 5,140 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,555 mm tall, while the ES 350e stands at 1,560 mm. All three variants have a 2,950-mm wheelbase.
The ES 350h Executive and Luxury come with 19-inch Aero alloy wheels, while the range-topping ES 350e gets larger 21-inch Luxury alloy wheels. Lexus is also introducing Sou, a new color for the ES, along with Sonic Copper, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, White Nova Glass Flake, and Graphite Black Glass Flake.
Two of the three variants use Lexus’ hybrid powertrain. The ES 350h Executive and ES 350h Luxury are powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four hybrid system producing 247 PS.
The bigger change comes with the ES 350e, which makes its Philippine debut as the first fully electric Lexus ES in the country.
It uses a 74.69-kWh lithium-ion battery and produces 224 PS. Lexus claims an estimated WLTP range of 493 kilometers. Charging can be done through Type 2 AC or CCS2 DC fast charging.
While the powertrains are different, Lexus has kept the ES’ focus on a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The hybrid versions are aimed at buyers who want electrification without having to rely entirely on charging, while the ES 350e gives buyers a fully electric alternative.
The biggest changes continue inside the cabin. All three variants receive a 14-inch touchscreen display and a panoramic tilt-and-slide sunroof, with a heavy focus on minimalism being immediately evident.
The ES 350h Executive comes with synthetic leather seats and a 10-speaker audio system. The ES 350h Luxury adds perforated synthetic leather and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System.
At the top of the range, the ES 350e gets semi-aniline leather, the same 17-speaker Mark Levinson system, and Adaptive Variable Suspension. Its 21-inch wheels also help set it apart from the two hybrid models.
Lexus describes the interior through its Omotenashi philosophy, which focuses on anticipating the needs of occupants. In practice, that means a cabin designed around comfort, convenience, and easy access to the car’s various functions.
All three variants are equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 4, the latest version of Lexus’ driver-assistance technology suite.
The ES 350h Executive gets a Back Guide Monitor, while the ES 350h Luxury and ES 350e receive a Panoramic View Monitor. The latter gives the driver a wider view around the vehicle, which can be particularly useful when maneuvering a large sedan in tight spaces.

With the new generation, Lexus is giving Philippine buyers more ways to experience the ES. The two ES 350h variants retain the flexibility of a hybrid powertrain, while the ES 350e takes the model fully electric.
For a segment that has increasingly shifted toward SUVs, the arrival of a new ES also shows that Lexus still sees a place for the traditional luxury sedan—just with a more modern approach to powertrains, technology, and design.
